Farm Frenzy - Pizza Party! is the latest installment of this highly renowned game. For those who are not familiar with it, it is basically a time management game. What makes it different from the first Farm Frenzy, is that now the players have to prepare pizzas all over the town - you can see that on the Screenshots.
Even though there are not as many differences as I thought there would be, the game's developer was able to retain its addictive playability. It is a shame and quite disappointing, to find out after a great deal of expectation that the game is quite the same as the older versions. I guess I was expecting some innovation, something fresh, as I was used to with the original .
The game consists of goals that players have to fulfill in order to pass to the next level. As they do, they get Stars depending on the elapsed time, sold items, etc. These stars are the currency used to buy tools, upgrades for buildings, vehicles and animals. Sometimes, in order to play the following level, players need to upgrade a building and for that they need stars. When they don’t have enough stars, they have to go back and re-play a level.
The interface, animations and motion of the animals are well done, though the help seems a bit too scarce and difficult to find. All in all, I think this is a great game and I find it really good, but as I said, it is very addictive. |
